Founded in 2024 GoGoFilm (co-)produces films and talent development projects with a strong focus on Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus. We collaborate with educational and cultural institutions, NGOs and funding agencies in the Netherlands, Europe and the South Caucasus.
Our international expertise and knowledge of local culture enables us to mediate between creatives, organizations and projects on the international market.

Film Mosaic2
This spring Ineke Smits lectured once more at the Film Mosaic workshop in Tbilisi. Film Mosaic unites professional creatives from Europe and the South Caucasus with the aim of exploring and highlighting themes like 'the accessibility of urban space for all' and 'the effect of climate change on society' through the medium of film. Under professional guidance and in collaboration with each other, participants create films on these themes in their immediate surroundings. The final films are showcased in the participating countries and during the Copenhagen Architecture Festival.
Film Mosaic is a collaboration between the Copenhagen Architecture Festival (Denmark), Nushi Film (Georgia), Tbilisi Architecture Biennial (Georgia), Queer Art Fest Baku (Azerbaijan) and Pink Armenia (Armenia).
The Rezo Gabriadze script development workshop 2024
From 4 to 10 October 2024, Nushi Film producers Tekla Machavariani (Nushi Film) and Ineke Smits (GoGo Film) will lead the 2nd edition of the Rezo Gabriadze Script Workshop during the Kutaisi International Short Film Festival.
This intensive workshop will focus on both the content and production development of short film scripts. At the end of the workshop, the projects will be pitched to a jury, which will award the best project with a prize. With its focus on short films, KISFF is a great place for talent development; In the four years of the festival's existence, it has proven to be a real magnet for young makers from the South Caucasus, and thus also an interesting place for discovering new talent.

Holy Electricity
Holy Electricity tells the story of Bart and his 17-year-old nephew, Gonga, set against the backdrop of modern-day Tbilisi. As Bart promises to take care of Gonga after his brother's death, they are left to navigate the challenges of a suburban reality, including a significant debt. Can luminous crucifixes fill a market gap for them to profit from?
Holy Electricity was produced by Zango Studio (Georgia) and Nushi Film (Georgia) in co-production with GoGoFilm (Netherlands), The Film Kitchen (Netherlands) and Arrebato Films (Georgia).
GoGoFilm is proud that the World Premiere of Tato Kotetishvili’s debut feature film Holy Electricity this August has been a great succes. The film won a Pardo d'Oro in Concorso Cineasti del Presente and the young jury prize.
